Entregados, interactuando, expresando cierta nostalgia a toda velocidad.
Through this constant movement, without reaching a definitive place, this double album appears, separating two moments, going forward in times of change and reorganization.
We found a way to comunnicate our states of mind, regrouping these songs in two different, and at the same time, symbiotic albums, giving it all continuity and coherence to each passing moment.
In these songs it can be listened four recipients grounding their ideas in the moment of translation, ceasing to be people, beings, light, darkness... children of the earth... becoming nothing. Left to their own devices, interacting, expressing some kind of nostalgia at full speed. A wolrd of immaginary landscapes unfolds in each passing song, searching for the calm in a never ending mantra.

Viaje a Ixtlán lives in constant movement, in constant change, getting out of the confort zone in each step, experimenting
and chewing out each sound that influenced us so much.
Taking as a starting point instrumental and dark passages, the band has developed a personal aestetic where their sound experimentation and their electric volatibility get fused together....more
Amazing find, the sound of Sonnenfracht immediately teleported me back some 25 years to memories of entire days spent listening to Kyuss, songs like Phototropic or One Inch Man, ... before Josh Homme decided to quit and move on to his next project - Queens of the Stone Age. oliverontherun
Perfect blend of funky basslines and superbly crafted fuzzy guitar riffs. Some truly memorable hooks that stay in your head long after the record ends. lavintman1

Spaced-out krautrock and dizzying drone from this Irish band that packs a punch—the sound of being caught in an asteroid belt. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 9, 2023
