Buenos Aires o'clock in the morning, freeway 25 de mayo, Another going, another return: travelling from one place to another, so that the travel never ends, like those songs you never want to finish listening.
The vehicles scream in the night while the vibration of these beasts it's transmitted through their metal into the drivers bodies, making silent music, a music that can only be felt.
The silence of the night lets the driver and the machine fuse together, like something inert, like a trance. The lights fly at the sides of the freeway, appearing and disappering, making a rhythm track in which the dwellers of the freeway express themselfs. Without movement, there's no story, and without story there's nothing: that's the most basic esscence of the art, the most basic premise of the music.
And to which extent travelling its not more than arriving? or escaping? or movimg from point A to B and back?

Viaje a Ixtlán lives in constant movement, in constant change, getting out of the confort zone in each step, experimenting
and chewing out each sound that influenced us so much.
Taking as a starting point instrumental and dark passages, the band has developed a personal aestetic where their sound experimentation and their electric volatibility get fused together....more
